Longest Night Service (Via Zoom)

Sunday, December 20, 7:00 p.m.

The Christmas season is filled with hope and joy, but not always and not for everyone. The season can also bring feelings of sadness and grief, and re-kindle difficult memories and experiences.

For many years, churches have held Longest Night services (sometimes called “Blue Christmas” services), to lift up our feelings and experiences before God and one another and to gather as community to seek solidarity and comfort. This year will be no different, made all the more important by the realities of the coronavirus pandemic.

Join us live on Zoom on Sunday evening, December 20 at 7:00 p.m. for scripture, prayer and music. You will be able to share your concerns live as we gather. The service will be recorded and posted on our website if you are not able to be present. Please join us, and consider inviting a friend, as we seek the comfort of the Spirit and community in this holy season.
