NPIHN families say thank you

Four families are currently living at St Paul’s Church as part of the Interfaith Hospitality Network of Philadelphia (NPIHN) sheltering program. For the whole week starting May 4th, a reliable group of PCCH volunteers cooked dinner for the guest families and shared the meal every night; provided an overnight (sleeping!) presence just in case of emergency; and a large handful of young PCCH-ers were more than happy to play ball, twister, or “Name That Greek God” with the guest families’ kids.

If you haven’t participated in this mission effort, you are missing out on a rate opportunity to get to know – even for a night – the people whose lives you impact.  It is a wonderful experience for kids of all ages and can even accommodate those busy schedules they have.

Thank you, on behalf of Danielle and Quinton; Erica and Naziah; Barbara and Theo, Calib and Kiki; and Zophia, Jared, Jaylen, and Armari.
